Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about our organization.
Since our inception in 1950, through countless hours of volunteer efforts coupled with the generosity of thousands of donors, we have become a self-sustaining endowment. At our annual meeting on 2/21/13, the directors unanimously approved a motion to roll over our assets into the Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo to continue to support the eye banking operations at UNYTS and 16 Western New York Lions Clubs. We will no longer be mailing our annual Blind Seal Appeal at Thanksgiving time.
