Bequests & Memorials

Over the years, the Lions Blind & Charity Fund, Inc. has benefitted greatly from the generosity of Western New Yorkers who decided to make a final gesture of charity by including us in their will. Unless otherwise specified, such donations are invested to generate distributable revenues for years to come. You may specify bequests in your will in the following ways:

A Percentage
If you want to leave a percentage of your estate:
"I give, devise, and bequeath to the Lions Blind & Charity Fund, c/o Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo _______ % of my estate."

A Dollar Amount
If you want to leave a specific dollar amount:
"I give, devise, and bequeath to the Lions Blind & Charity Fund, c/o Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo $_______."

The "Residue"
If you want to leave the "residue" of the estate, that is, the amount remaining after you have provided for your heirs:
"All the residue of my estate, including real and personal property, I give, devise, and bequeath to the Lions Blind & Charity Fund, c/o Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo"

Property
If you want to leave a specific piece of property:
"I give, devise and bequeath to the Lions Blind & Charity Fund, c/o Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo (a description of the property) located at (exact location)."
